Overview

FGF is a growth factor which simultaneously encourages both angiogenesis tissue remodeling, being known for tissue-level regeneration. However, FGF is structurally unstable and has a short biological half-life and therefore has limitations in real-situation applications. Vaxdigm progresses for an FGF with maintained biological function yet with improved stability through protein engineering and ChaperNova™-based expression, advancing to a function protein which not only addresses productive efficiency but also structural stability. Through this, we will be able to expand from regenerative treatments and tissue-engineering to functional cosmetics, and we aim to present the substance in combination with a delivery system into various forms such as stick-on patches.
